Transpacific - West Coast to Hawaii

An airplane was the most famous subject in Art Deco illustration back in the 1930s. The presence of modern technology transported tourists from the mainland to Hawaii much faster than ocean liners. In 1936, Pan America made its first flight from San Francisco to Honolulu with its M-130 clipper.
